A bike ride through the forest

Enjoy a unique 44 km journey through the heart of the Sonian forest. Start your journey with a Gravel run on the Meuse riverbank, which will take you directly into the Sonian forest. Once in the forest, you can stop for a bite to eat in the picnic area. Afterwards, you can enjoy a 20km forest trail that will take you to a pretty farm and then on to the Landsrodevijver. After that, a bit of action awaits you on the MTB trails that will take you back to your starting point in the forest.

Drive through the Forêt de Soignes, passing the Etang de la longue queue, the Château de La Hulpe, discover the Folon Foundation and then enter the magical Forêt de Soignes.

Excursion through the Rouge Cloitre

A peaceful stroll through La Hulpe. Relax on pavements reserved for bicycles, then admire the magnificent view of the Red Cloister. After relaxing by the lake, a short 18.8 km MTB track takes you to the Soignes forest and the Sentier de Gravel.

Make the most of your bike and cycle through La Hulpe along pleasant cycle paths to the Renipont beach, where you can relax and enjoy a drink. After your break, get back on your bike and cycle along some pleasant off-road paths to the Beaurieux water mill. Then head for a quick access on the lakes of Louvain-la-Neuve which will take you directly to the entrance of the Bois des Rêves. After crossing the wood, enjoy the paths through the louvain la neuve golf course and the green tunnel.
Conquest trail of the Mound of Waterloo

From La Hulpe, head for the footpaths towards Waterloo and the Rue de la Croix gravel track. Stop for a picnic in a covered area next to the Butte. Once you've had a rest, get back on the road and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Butte du Lion in Waterloo. For the more courageous, you can climb it and enjoy the view. Then gravel paths await you to return to your starting point.
