Mother's Day

May 04, 2023

Mother's Day is the perfect occasion to offer our mothers a moment out of time. And because nature is the mother of us all, what better way to celebrate this love than with a memorable experience in the heart of the magnificent Sonian Forest?

To all nature-loving mums, give her the luxury of doing nothing but enjoying the benefits of raw, untouched nature until dusk and falling asleep in comfort. After a night in the heart of nature, your mother will wake up to the sound of birdsong, enjoy a buffet breakfast with a panoramic view of the forest from which she may spot a squirrel or two.  Depending on what she wants to do,  she will enjoy relaxing and discovering activities in the Solvay park, the castle of La Hulpe, the Folon foundation, ... starting from the hotel thanks to itineraries, she will enjoy the wellness area (including swimming pool, sauna, hammam, fitness room) and/or a refreshing drink on the terrace.

For all mothers in need of well-being, offer them a sensory journey at the Cinq Mondes Spa.  This holistic moment focused exclusively on their well-being will allow them to relax in depth while discovering the massage practices from different cultures and a rich sensory universe thanks to the Beauty and Well-being Rituals of the world.

For mums who are as twirly as the wind, elusive, curious and whose diaries are fully booked, we suggest you let them choose the experience that will match their state of mind when they will have time to think about themselves.  Our gift vouchers give access to both the stays and the Spa experiences and can also be used for a summer dinner or barbecue on our beautiful terrace.

Finally, for mothers who love wine and short circuits, we suggest that you introduce her to the subtleties of Belgian wines by booking the Vine Festival package available from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June. On Friday evening, the on-man show " Neither gods nor masters but red wine " by Erik Boshman, sommelier, humorist and hedonist, will launch the festivities followed by a three-course dinner with a package of Belgian wines in supplement. The show will be given in French. The next day, she will have the opportunity to meet passionate Belgian winegrowers and winemakers and taste their wines in the gardens of the horticultural school in La Hulpe. On Sunday, an oenology workshop and discovery of the Bois des Dames vineyard will be on the programme.
